Transformation of Carlisle Nursery School into a seaside resort


THIS week, a nursery school in Carlisle transformed into a sunny seaside resort, they brought the fun of Blackpool to their playground.

On Wednesday July 13, the children of Kingmoor Nursery & Infant School spent the day at the beach taking part in a range of fun activities. This included a splash area and a beach that the staff created using large amounts of sand.

The school was thrilled to have a visit from the fire department, the ice cream truck and several fairground rides. Other activities included seashell art, bouncy hoppers and bouncy castles.

The kindergarten published on its social networks the day:

“We had the best day of our lives! »

“We had ice cream, sandy beach, splash areas, mini bouncy castle, HUGE bouncy castle, fairground rides, seashell art, throw in the wet sponges, sunbathing area, beach volleyball, a fire truck and much more. The kids were amazing!”

The day was all about charity fundraising in which £150 was raised for CFM to support local community issues.
