More paw-tastic news…
There are a lot of factors to consider when going on a vacation. Questions need to be answered, including whether it fits your budget, what kind of restaurants are available, is there a beach nearby, and more. However, for pet owners, the first question is “But, can I bring my dog?”
Many hotels now understand how important it is to accept pets and are opening their doors to four-legged puppies. The latest to accept dogs as official family members is the five-star Hilton RAK Beach Resort. The resort now offers a series of dog-friendly rooms in Ras Al Khaimah, and you don’t have to wait long as the rooms are all ready for the furry family members.
The move aligns with the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority’s campaign to make Ras Al Khaimah a pet-friendly destination.
The resort now offers eight dog-friendly rooms, but don’t worry, you won’t have to limit your pet’s zooms to the room.
You will have direct access to a 500m long private rear beach where your puppies can feel the sand between their tiny pads and the wind in their fur. Just be sure to carry your dog’s leash with you, so he doesn’t run off in excitement. The whole family can also visit the Sunset Bar for bites and refreshments.
After your little bud hides, return to your room where he’ll find a dog bed on his own, a blanket, and dog bowls.
The hotel will soon launch a special ‘BONE Appetite‘ room service menu for your tail-wagging family member. And it’s not canned dog food on the menu. The gourmet menu includes grilled boneless chicken with white rice, beef and vegetable stew, beef burger with potato brioche bun, and chicken sausages with mashed potatoes.
Note however that the rooms are designed to accommodate a maximum of two dogs per room in a combined total of 25 kg.
If you prefer glamping in RAK, you can head to Banan Beach on the beautiful island of Al Marjan, Ras Al Khaimah.
