Mike Sonko, the former governor of Nairobi, is brimming with cash, based on his recent multi-million dollar investments.
The flamboyant ex-county chairman has taken to social media to brag about a new resort he has opened in Kikambala, Mombasa County.
The multi-million dollar resort offers a variety of services to the general public and can be rented out for weddings, graduations, birthday parties and other social gatherings.
The resort also offers services such as accommodation, food and beverage.
There is also a high-end kinyozi and gym in the complex.
“Welcome to Salama Bling Beach Resort Kikambala, we offer conference facilities, organize weddings, graduation ceremonies, birthday parties, we also provide accommodation, food, beverages and other facilities like the gym, kinyozi and pool,” he wrote on his social handles.
The launch of the seaside resort comes just a month after the creation of a high-end club in Shanzu, called Club Volume, which is causing a stir.
Some Kenyans are wondering where his money came from, saying he was accused of stealing millions of shillings when he was governor of Nairobi.
