Oceana Coffee opens a cafe at Eau Palm Beach Resort in Manalapan

Tequesta-based specialty coffee roaster Oceana Coffee has expanded to Eau Palm Beach Resort.

The six-seat cafe, called Oceana Coffee, is a partnership with the resort and features homemade pastries and a specially crafted blend of coffee for Eau.

It debuted March 1 and is open daily for dine-in or take-out.

“We’re super excited,” said Amy Angelo, who co-founded Cafe Oceane in 2009 with her husband Scott, an award-winning coffee roaster.

“Specialty coffee has had a renaissance since the pandemic began,” she told the Daily News on Monday. “More than ever, individuals and businesses are looking for a high-quality coffee experience.”

Oceana Coffee (oceanacoffee.com), which has its own roasting plant and a separate cafe and retail store in Tequesta, roasts high-quality coffee beans from around the world in small batches, using methods that accentuate natural flavors.

It has won various accolades over the years, including awards from the annual Golden Bean North America coffee roasting competition.

At Café Eau, a variety of hot and cold coffee drinks are available, including espressos, macchiatos, cappuccinos and lattes.

A member of Eau’s baking team, Sarah Craichy, bakes pastries for the cafe daily, station officials said.

Individual cakes include piña colada, hazelnut chocolate, and raspberry-passion-almond. Chocolate brioche, carrot cake croissants and pan au chocolat are among the other dishes commonly available.

Oceana Coffee at Eau is open daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
