The Bahamas’ newest resort is officially open.
The highly anticipated Margaritaville Beach Resort Nassau held its ribbon-cutting ceremony this week in the heart of downtown Nassau.
This is the very first Margaritaville resort in the Bahamas, located The pointthe capital’s new luxury destination.
The $350 million project is a major infusion of energy into the downtown waterfront of Nassau, a city that has been experiencing a renaissance in recent years.
The property joins the already open One Particular Harbour, an adjacent Margaritaville-branded residential complex.
“Just as the Bahamas is returning, the city of Nassau and the Nassau waterfront are returning,” said Bahamas Prime Minister Dr. Hubert Minnis. “Historic Nassau and downtown are transforming before our eyes.”
The resort, which is managed by Aimbridge Hospitality, has 300 rooms in total, as well as 11 dining and dining concepts, from JWB Prime Steak and Seafood to Graycliff Sky Lounge.
All rooms offer direct ocean views, as well as floor-to-ceiling windows and private balconies or terraces.
It’s the newest in a growing pipeline of Margaritaville-branded resorts across the Caribbean.
