Hyatt Announces Plans for Grand Hyatt Cancun Beach Resort


Hyatt Hotels Corporation (NYSE: H) today announced plans for the Grand Hyatt Cancun Beach Resort, a new resort in Quintana Roo, Mexico, in collaboration with ownership group Diestra Realty, SA de CV. Scheduled to open in 2024 in time for the summer season, the 500-bedroom Grand Hyatt luxury hotel will mark another milestone in Hyatt’s ambitious brand growth strategy in Latin America to meet growing leisure travel demand. . Beach Resort will be a captivating destination, with 500 rooms, including 28 rooms with their own plunge pool, and 46 luxury suites, including a Presidential Suite; 11 dining concepts that will feature world-class chefs and iconic dishes reflecting the destination; six bars, including a lobby lounge, poolside bar, and beach cabana; an indoor and outdoor spa area and fitness center to connect guests to their physical and mental well-being; three swimming pools; and over 16,000 square feet of dynamic, state-of-the-art gathering space designed to accommodate events of all sizes and types. Additional offerings and amenities will include a kids’ club, activity center, business center, and retail stores.

The resort will be located in Puerto Cancun, a master-planned residential resort community that includes a full-service marina, golf course, resorts, timeshares, condominiums, single-family homes, fitness and advanced recreation. centre, protected nature reserve and a lifestyle mall offering an outdoor shopping experience with over 220 tenants, including fine dining, art galleries and entertainment activities for children. A newly developed resort group will include the new Grand Hyatt Cancun Beach Resort. The Grand Hyatt Cancun Beach Resort will join 18 other Hyatt-branded hotels in Cancun, including luxury all-inclusive resorts across the AMR Collection brands, giving guests and World of Hyatt members even more resort options and leisure experiences to choose from.
