When it opens in spring 2025, Hilton Worldwide’s latest Ukrainian outpost will feature two swimming pools and offer direct access to Odessa’s beautiful sandy beaches.
An exciting new property aims to attract domestic and international travelers to the popular Black Sea resort.
A booming destination
Hilton Worldwide has signed a franchise agreement with developer Gefest Group to create Hilton Odessa, a 145-key beachfront property to be managed by Millennium Hospitality. The proposed scheme, which spans two buildings, involves the transformation of sites at Vannyi Lane, near the Arcadia entertainment area and Primorskyi Lane.
Odessa is known for its 19th century architecture, energetic culture and Black Sea beaches, as well as being a hub of commerce.
Patrick Fitzgibbon, senior vice president of development for EMEA at Hilton, said: “There is a real opportunity for growth in Ukraine, with two hotels set to join our portfolio alongside Hilton Kyiv. Growing international interest in Odessa and robust domestic demand make Hilton Odessa an important addition to our European pipeline. We are happy to work with Gefest Group to bring our flagship brand to southern Ukraine.
Vasilis Boumbouras, CEO of Gefest Group, added: “We aim to develop one of the best Hilton hotels in the world, both in terms of ambiance and the quality of the materials used. We pay attention to the smallest details, which will make the customer’s experience unique and memorable.
The creation of a new coastal refuge
The decor of the newly built hotel will take inspiration from the surrounding environment through the use of sandy tones and coastal-inspired textures.
Guests can expect to find two pools — one indoor and one rooftop — with coastal views. There will also be four restaurants and bars, as well as approximately 800 m² of event space including a 300 m² ballroom, as well as an executive floor with rooftop lounge, wellness center with heated swimming pool, space fitness and beauty salon.
When it opens in spring 2025, the new Hilton hotel will place guests near the popular resort town of Arcadia, which includes Arcadia Beach and a bustling entertainment complex filled with restaurants, bars and nightclubs. Moreover, the city center is only 15 minutes away by car and the Botanical Garden of Odessa State University can be visited further along the coast.
